Day 1 :

TANGIER ⇢ CHEFCHAOUEN

Welcomed at Tangier airport, one of the Tangier ports, or your accommodation, your 5-day Morocco trip from Tangier starts. There to meet you and lead you through the trip will be our kind local guide.

We will next go to the charming town of Chefchaouen, which is tucked away in northern Morocco's stunning Rif Mountains. You'll be settled into your cozy hotel or riad and have time to see the city and its famous blue-painted streets after arrival. Famous for its unusual blue-washed buildings, Chefchaouen offers a lovely backdrop. Wander slowly through the little lanes, stop by the bustling marketplaces, or relax in one of the little cafés and eateries serving real Moroccan food.

You will conclude a fantastic day in Chefchaouen with a night in a lovely riad or hotel where you can unwind and take in the calm environment after a day of discovery.

Day 2 :

CHEFCHAOUEN ⇢ FES

Start your day off right at your riad with a delicious breakfast and get ready for an amazing trip to Fes.

An informed local guide will welcome you in Fes and be ready to tour you around this mediaeval city. Discover its old lanes, get lost in its rich past, and be in awe of the magnificent architecture. There will be the chance to have a wonderful lunch in the busy Medina, where you can enjoy the real tastes and smells of regional food.

Relax at a quaint riad right in the center of Fes Medina after a full day of exploration. You will find peace in this calm haven in the middle of the bustling metropolis. Making yourself at home in your comfortable riad for the evening, take some time to unwind and enjoy the charm of Fes.

Day 3 :

FES ⇢ IFRANE ⇢ MIDDLE ATLAS MOUNTAINS ⇢ ZIZ VALLEY ⇢ MERZOUGA DESERT

Following a wonderful breakfast at your Fes riad, we will go on an amazing desert adventure. We will go south to Merzouga, home of the enchanted Erg Chebbi dunes. We will stop at the lovely city of Ifrane along route so you can unwind and enjoy the breathtaking scenery.

Driving forward, we will pass the Middle Atlas Mountains and stop at a cedar woodland. Here you may see Barbary apes in their natural environment. We will then have a filling lunch at a restaurant along the way to make sure you are ready for the remainder of the drive.

We will soon arrive at the captivating Ziz Valley, well-known for its verdant palm tree haven. Before you get to the desert, you will have time to take in the breathtaking scenery.

We will get to the desert in the afternoon to start your real camel caravan adventure. Riding your camel across Erg Chebbi's magnificent sand dunes, pause to take in the stunning sunset from a high dune.

Trekking on camels will bring you to an opulent tent. You will be shown to your own tent to unwind and have refreshments when you arrive. As night falls, have a delicious meal that highlights regional cuisine. During the starry night, assemble around a warm campfire where the camp staff will serenade you with traditional Berber music and energetic drumming. The celebrations this evening will be made much more joyful by your opportunity to try your hand at drumming.

Day 4 :

MERZOUGA DESERT ⇢ RISSANI ⇢ TODRA GORGE ⇢ DADES VALLEY

It is strongly advised to get up early in order to see the breathtaking dawn over the dunes of Erg Chebbi. You have the choice of taking a camel ride or hopping in a 4x4 to go to Merzouga after a filling brunch. All prepared to take you on the next stage of your trip to Dades Valley will be your guide/driver.

If this leg comes on a market day, like Sunday, Tuesday, or Thursday, you will get to see interesting locations like the lively market in Rissani. The Todra River is breathtakingly visible from a leisurely stroll through the magnificent Todra Gorge.

As we go towards Dades Gorge, be ready to be enthralled by the amazing rock formations known as monkey fingers. Traveling through Dades Valley offers expansive views of the Gorges before you get to your overnight lodging. Comfortably unwind at a quaint motel to guarantee a good night's sleep.

Day 5 :

DADES VALLEY ⇢ OUARZAZATE ⇢ AIT BEN HADDOU ⇢ HIGH ATLAS MOUNTAINS ⇢ MARRAKECH

Ouarzazate, often referred to as the “Hollywood of Africa” and the “Gateway to the Desert,” will be our first destination on the last day of your five-day Tangier to Marrakech journey. The biggest film production facility in Morocco, Atlas Studios, will be open for you to tour. Get an insight into the world of filmmaking and see famous movie locations.

We'll go to Ait Ben Haddou after seeing the studios. The Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that has been shown in many movies like "The Mummy" and "Prince of Persia," will be yours to see. Admire the beautiful decorations and intricate construction of this ancient building at your leisure.

We will pass across the magnificent High Atlas Mountains after a delicious lunch. Traveling along, take in the amazing views of the surroundings. We will get at Marrakech as the day is coming to an end, ending your five-day journey from Tangier to Marrakech.
