Arrive at Tangier airport, one of its ports, or your chosen accommodation, and begin your 8-day journey.
Once there, we'll travel to Chefchaouen, a charming town in northern Morocco's Rif Mountains. Within the town's famous blue-painted streets, settle into your comfortable lodging in a small hotel or riad. Savor real Moroccan food while visiting the lively marketplaces and quaint cafés.

Following a day of exploration, relax at your hotel or riad, taking in the tranquility and thinking back on your incredible Chefchaouen adventures.

A filling breakfast at your riad will set you up for an intriguing journey. Savor the tranquility of the Moroccan landscape as you travel through the charming Rif settlements. Renowned for its old Roman ruins, Volubilis is our first destination.  Discover the magnificent public structures from the third century, as well as the well-preserved mosaics that provide an intriguing look into the life of the Romans, who once called Volubilis home. Then we go to Meknes, the seventeenth-century capital of Morocco, a city steeped in history. After a delectable lunch, visit the old walls-encircled, well-known Bab el Mansour gate medina in Meknes. Take in Bab el Mansour's exquisitely carved representations of Moroccan craftsmanship. We will also visit the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, a significant monument to the venerable Sultan. FS is where our day of discovery comes to an end. Nestle into a quaint riad and reflect on the day's historical and cultural findings.

Enter Fes, a city renowned for its rich cultural heritage and ancient origins, for a full day of discovery. Fes, one of Morocco's imperial cities, has a plethora of historical and religious sites.  Seeing the Royal Palace gates first thing in the morning will help you have an exploratory day. Explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site of ancient Medina's maze-like lanes and busy streets. Sites of outstanding architectural and historical significance include Al-Qarawiyyin University, Al-Attarine Madrasa, the Nejjarine Fountain, and the Chouara Tanneries.  To discover the rich cultural fabric of Fes, go to Mellah, the Jewish neighborhood. At the end of your trip, visit an old fortification to take in the amazing, sweeping vistas of Fes and the Medina. This full-day trip, which includes commentary from our informed local guide in Fes, provides a comprehensive look into the vibrant cultural environment and legendary heritage of this amazing city. 

After a filling breakfast in your Fes riad, get ready for an exhilarating desert excursion. After a revitalizing halt at Ifrane to enjoy its breathtaking scenery, we will travel south towards the Merzouga desert.  We will pass by the Middle Atlas Mountains' cedar woods, where you may see Barbary apes in their native habitat. We'll have a lovely lunch break at a restaurant along the route. Savor the verdant scenery of Ziz Valley, the great palm oasis. When we arrive at Merzouga in the afternoon, you will find your camel caravan waiting. Riding across the captivating Erg Chebbi sand dunes, pause to take in the breathtaking sunset from a high dune. Proceed to an opulent desert camp after this life-changing event.  Arriving at the site, unwind in your own tent. Savor a delicious supper and then congregate around a campfire under the starry sky. Join us and drum along with our skilled camp staff as you learn the traditional Berber beats.

If the sun rises early, you can witness a stunning sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes. Pick between an exciting 4x4 drive back to Merzouga or a camel ride after breakfast.  The first stop on our journey is Khamlia, well-known for its Gnawa music. Listen to local artists' upbeat songs and rich cultural heritage of African rhythms. Next, we go off-road to investigate M'Fis, an abandoned community that was previously a prosperous Galena mine. As you meander about the ancient remains, learn about the lives of the miners and the significance of Galena in the manufacture of mascara. Our trip continues with a visit to a nomadic family living in the desert. While staying in their classic Berber tents, come experience their warm cup of tea and distinctive way of life. Their tales provide an engrossing look into the spirit of wandering life and desert living.  After lunch, we visit a lovely Riad, where you can unwind and cool down in the pool. Select between an exhilarating quad bike or buggy driving experience in the late afternoon, or just go to the dunes to take in the sunset. Savor a nice supper and spend the evening in your riad's comfortable atmosphere.

Following a delicious breakfast at your riad, we will embark on a magical tour of the breathtaking Dades Valley. We start at a typical market in Rissani that is open on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Take in the vibrant views, fragrant plants, and energetic noises as you stroll through its streets. Next, prepare to be amazed by the stunning Todra Gorge. Explore this natural treasure slowly; the Todra River winds through sheer cliffs, offering breath-taking vistas around every bend.  You will pause to see the amazing "monkey fingers" rock formations as we go into the Dades Valley. Stunning to see, these geological wonders highlight the creative powers of the Earth.  Panoramic vistas from our picturesque trip through the Dades Valley will make an impact. The craggy cliffs and verdant flora create an absolutely remarkable scene. When we go to your hotel for the night, we'll provide a quiet and cozy haven. Relax in your comfortable accommodations to guarantee a peaceful stay while you get ready for even more thrilling experiences.

We journeyed to Ouarzazate, known as the "Hollywood of Africa" and the "Gateway to the Desert," today. Atlas Studios, our first destination, is the biggest movie studio in Morocco. As you tour well-known movie locations that evoke the enchantment of cinema, lose yourself in the world of filmmaking.  After visiting the studio, we proceed to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Films such as Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, The Mummy, Prince of Persia, Alexander, and the television series Game of Thrones have all included this ancient stronghold. Take in the rich history of this stunning Kasbah and marvel at its magnificent architecture.  After a delicious meal at a restaurant, we head into the magnificent High Atlas Mountains. En route, take in the stunning scenery that reveals Morocco's untamed beauty at every bend.  Late afternoon brings us to the vibrant city of Marrakech. YWe will guide you around a charming riad located in the heart of the Medina. his evening, savor a wonderful supper in the warm setting of your Riad or in the vibrant setting of a restaurant in the busy Jemaa El Fna Square.

Start your last day of your amazing eight-day trip from Tangier to Marrakech with a delicious breakfast at your Riad. Our knowledgeable local guide will meet you at your Riad and begin highlighting the best features of Marrakech. As you tour famous sites such as Jemaa El-Fna Square, Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, Ben Youssef Madrassa, and the Koutoubia Mosque, be prepared for fascinating anecdotes. 

Following a filling lunch, take in the contemporary side of Marrakech and stop at the magnificent Majorelle Garden, a peaceful haven that expertly combines art and nature.
